Green Lawyers Club

KLE Law College with a group of students and teachers have constituted the Green Lawyers Club (GLC) with the main mottos to spread maximum awareness regarding protecting the Mother Nature, to join hands with the ministries, activists and NGOs working in the field to address the problems in finding legal solutions for environmental challenges.

GLC had organised a Silent March regarding enlightening the public to not burst fire crackers on days of Deepavali festival. More than 100 student volunteers, both girls and boys, participated in the march. The Silent March was held from 12.30 PM to 2.30. PM from BDA Complex, Nagarbhavi to Ambedkar College, Nagarbhavi with the help of banners and placards conveying serious message to the public to not burst fire crackers and pollute the environment.

A standout achievement within GLC's initiatives is the Green Advocacy Competition. This event provided a platform for numerous students to collaborate in teams and present their innovative and constructive contributions to the betterment of the earth. Students' ideas and solutions, honed through this competition, not only reflect their commitment to environmental causes but also signify their proactive engagement in tackling real-world challenges. The success and widespread appreciation of this event mark a significant milestone in GLC's ongoing efforts and its ability to inspire and empower the youth in advocating for positive change..
