Internship is a mandatory requirement, wherein the students of 5-year programmes shall do internship for a minimum of 20 weeks, and 3-year programmes shall do internship of minimum 12 weeks during the course of their programme.
Each internship shall be of minimum 4 weeks’ duration, and 1 internship shall be done every year.
Internships provide practical experience, opportunity to explore diverse options in the legal field with also scope to be placed where the students are interning. Internships can be pursued in NGOs, courts, tribunals, mediation centres, law chambers, senior counsel’s offices, research institutes etc. as mentioned below.
