Facilities at EVIC
EV Motor Test Rig supports rigorous testing of electric motors, evaluating
parameters such as efficiency, torque, and durability. This setup allows us to optimize motor
performance and ensure reliability under different load conditions, contributing to better overall
vehicle efficiency.
Battery Systems Testing and Control setup is equipped with instruments to
test various EV batteries, analyze degradation patterns, and develop effective Battery Management
Systems (BMS). Here, researchers focus on enhancing battery performance, safety, and lifespan.
We are also planning a facility to explore the interaction between electric
vehicles and the charging stations. This includes studying Vehicle-to-anything (V2X) systems, renewable
energy integration, and smart grid management to create sustainable charging solutions that support grid
stability.
