Facilities at CARR

The CARR Lab is an interdisciplinary research facility created to promote research at the interfaces of manufacturing, electronics, and computer science domains, apart from the discoveries that can be made in the core fields. The Lab provides unlimited opportunities for researchers, faculty members, and students to engage in active research in the cutting-edge technology realm. The collaboration with industry partners and other stakeholders enables the research teams to work on real-life complex challenges and offer meaningful solutions that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the quality of solutions and the research process itself.

The realization of the research-focused eco-system on the campus intends to provide students of majority disciplines with unique learning experiences in a work-emulating environment. It gives them insight into industry needs, potential research problems, professional requirements, and appreciation of the benefits and power of a connected world. CARR lab facility provides state-of-the-art research infrastructure augmented with modern design, prototyping, and manufacturing facilities required to verify and validate prototypes and products of smart manufacturing systems at TRL 6. It also provides mentoring, expert supervision, and training for using the facilities.
