KLE Technological University - Hubballi (India), marked National Sports Day on 29th August 2023, with a one-day seminar on the "Role of Sports in holistic Development of an Individual," organized by the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
Dr. Anand Nadgir, Director of Mallasajjana Vyayam and Health Education Institute, highlighted sports' influence on personality development, echoed by Dr. Sundar Raj Urs and Dr. Kiran Kulkani. KLE Tech University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ashok Shettar called for more such initiatives.
The event included prayers, guest introductions, and the garlanding of Major Dhyan Chand's portrait, drawing over 300 participants from KLE-affiliated institutions.
