Department of Computer Sciences and Artificial Intelligence conducted a Technical Talk on “Internet Society (ISOC) Awareness for Student Development” by resource person Mr. Adarsh B.U, Secretary, ISOC India, Bengaluru Chapter
Mr. Adarsh B.U is a Technical Solutions Consultant at COE-IOT, Happiest Minds Technologies. He has 8+ years of experience in building IoT design and developments for US and UK-based industries and has been recognized twice as “IoT Thought Leader” in the IoT ecosystem in India.
Internet Society (ISOC) is a worldwide charitable organization advocating for an open, globally connected, secure, and trustworthy Internet for everyone.
Mr. Adarsh created awareness among the 3rd and 5th-semester students of CSE and CSE(AI) departments about the ISOC organization and its contributions to society in terms of various activities being conducted for Internet development and student career development.
Mr. Adarsh introduced the students to the various fellowships and certification programs that can be availed through ISOC local chapters in India. During his talk, he gave them links to websites where they can look for opportunities such as ICANN for Networking Certifications and Fellowships, and ISOC for contributing towards Internet Protocols upgradation and standardization. He urged the students to upgrade their skills by taking advantage of such certifications, and fellowships programs, leading to Internships and grabbing excellent career opportunities during their placements. He also motivated the students to connect globally on International forums and make technical contributions in the field of Networking and the Internet through ISOC channels.
