The Centre of Excellence in Visual Intelligence (CEVI) at KLE Technological
University focuses on developing
cutting-edge AI solutions to address real-world challenges. It specializes in visual intelligence
research for
both 2D and 3D data, spanning tasks like image restoration, synthetic data generation,
classification,
detection, tracking, scene understanding and multimodal data analysis across domains such as Digital
Heritage, Agriculture, and Smart Manufacturing. CEVI also integrates Extended Reality (XR) for
immersive
research presentations and fosters impactful academia-industry collaborations. Through its
partnership with
Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore, CEVI established the Student Ecosystem for Engineered Data
(SEED)
lab,
creating a vibrant ecosystem for students to innovate in the field of visual intelligence.
