E-Step Bootcamp

The K-tech Innovation Hub (NAIN – New Age Incubation Network) at KLE Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology organized a one-day “E-STEP BOOTCAMP”

on 11th June 2021 in association with the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Dept. of Information Technology (IT), Bio-Technology (BT) and Science & Technology (S&T), Government of Karnataka. The function was presided by Dr. Basavaraj Katageri, Principal, KLE Dr. MSSCET, Belagavi A Crowd of 500+ Students from all Engineering departments of our college participated in “E-STEP BOOTCAMP 2021”,

and got benefited from all the sessions delivered by the resource person Mr. Vishnu Nagaraj, a startup Evangelist, Founder and CEO, Carve Startup Labs. Though many of them had various innovative ideas, they were unaware of the different canvas templates and the Pitch Deck which were explained in the Boot Camp. Now, they have learnt to prepare the same for their innovative ideas and got awareness and updates on Government platforms and facilities which are available for them as young student innovators and budding startup entrepreneurs.

Also, they have learnt many basic things on idea to product conversion, MVP, Customer Segment, Market Research & Survey, Product commercialization, Revenue model etc., Overall this event/activity was very useful and informative for all the student participants. Indeed it was a hands-on eye opening event with full of activities for all young innovators and startup enthusiasts.

Workshop on Technology Innovation and Entrepreneur Development

The K-tech Innovation Hub (NAIN – New Age Incubation Network) at KLE Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology conducted the workshop on “Technology Innovation and Entrepreneur Development” on 12th November 2020. The resource person was Dr. Nitin Kulkarni, Director at KLE – CITE, KLE Tech. University, Hubli.

The workshop is carried out under the able guidance of Dr. Basavaraj Katageri, Principal, KLE Dr. MSSCET Belagavi. The objective of this workshop was to assist the students for funded projects and also to promote Start-Up activities. Over 60+ students participated and got benefited from this workshop. This workshop helped the students to understand the plan of action for the execution of projects and also to realize the importance of start-ups.

Sheshgiri college of Engineering and Technology organized a one-day “E-STEP BOOTCAMP” on 6th September 2019 in association with the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS), Dept. of Information Technology (IT), Bio-Technology (BT) and Science & Technology (S&T), Government of Karnataka. The function was presided by Dr. Basavaraj Katageri, Principal, KLE DR. MSSCET, Belagavi A Crowd of 300+ Students from all Engineering departments of our college had participated in “E-STEP BOOTCAMP 2019”, and got benefited from all the sessions delivered by the resource persons Mr. Abrar Ahmed and Mr Vishnu Nagaraj of KITS.

As a outcome of this workshop students got awareness and updates on Government platforms and facilities which are available for them as young student innovators and budding startup entrepreneurs. Over all, this workshop was successful in creating awareness about Startup Karnataka initiatives/incentives and was very useful & informative for all the student participants. Indeed it was a hands-on eye opening event with full of activities for all young innovators and startup enthusiasts.

Ideation Workshop

The K-tech Innovation Hub (NAIN – New Age Incubation Network) at KLE Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology conducted the “Ideation workshop” for students on 26th February 2019. The resource person was Mr. Prabuddha Vyas, Managing Director, UniKwan Innovations Pvt. Ltd. Bengaluru. The function was presided by Dr. Basavaraj Katageri, Principal, KLE Dr. MSSCET Belagavi.

Over 235 students from various branches of our college participated and got benefited from this workshop. After taking part in this workshop, students were able to identify the areas of real time projects, understand the Process of idea implementation & the flow of idea to prototype. Overall this workshop was very useful and informative for all the student participants.
