The Department of Civil Engineering at KLE Technological University, Dr. M S Sheshgiri Campus, Belagavi, recently hosted a spectacular extravaganza, *'VishwaSangam-2024' - a two day National level student Tech-Fest* , drawing participants from across the Nation to showcase their prowess in the field. This National-level technical fest served as a melting pot of innovation, knowledge, and camaraderie, offering an extensive lineup of events designed to challenge and inspire budding engineers. From the intellectually stimulating technical quiz, where participants tested their theoretical understanding of civil engineering concepts, to the exhilarating surveying treasure hunt, which put their practical skills to the test in real-world scenarios, VishwaSangam provided a platform for students to shine. The CADD (Computer-Aided Design and Drafting) contest allowed participants to showcase their creativity and proficiency in using industry-standard software to design structures and systems. Simultaneously, the truss modeling competition pushed boundaries, challenging participants to construct intricate models demonstrating structural integrity and aesthetic appeal. Not limited to conventional competitions, VishwaSangam embraced the digital age with a BattleGrounds Mobile India (BGMI) tournament, tapping into the burgeoning gaming community among engineering students. The inclusion of this modern twist ensured that participants across all academic levels—BE, M.Tech, and Diploma—found opportunities to engage and excel.
