Highway Engineering Lab
The transportation lab has been set up to fulfill the needs of testing the pavement materials. This lab is equipped with various facilities for testing aggregates, bituminous binders, mastics, and mixtures to evaluate and understand the material behavior. It is been facilitated with Marshall Stability Apparatus with a compaction set up to perform mix design of bituminous mixture. The laboratory is well-equipped to train students to conduct various experiments to understand the properties of highway materials. The laboratory spreads over an area of 160 sq.m having with following equipment/facilities:
