Basic Material Testing Lab

The material testing laboratory is spread over an area of 175 sqm and is adequately equipped for conducting basic testing of Civil engineering materials for their mechanical properties. The laboratory is utilized for practical classes, student projects and consultancy.

• Compression Testing Machine of 2000 kN capacity (Analog).
• Compression Testing Machine of 1000 kN capacity (Digital).
• Rockwell / Brinnell Hardness Testing machine.

• Flexure Testing Machine.
• Torsion Testing Machine.
• Extensometer, Shear test assembly, Dial gauges.
