Overview

The department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 1986 with an intake of 40 students.

With years of exceptional services in academics and research, the department has gradually excelled and currently the department hosts two programs with intake of 180 students. KLE Technological University, Belagavi campus offers graduate courses in Computer Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.

The department has 24 teaching faculty of which 7 are Ph.D. holders. The department incorporates continuous improvement in quality, developing confidence for self and lifelong learning.

The department has state-of-the-art infrastructure and computing facilities supported by high-speed Ethernet and wireless network. The department has a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to industry driven aspects with emphasis on problem based learning.
