Recent Developments and Trends in Telecommunication Technologies

Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, KLE Dr. M S Sheshgiri, College of Engineering and Technology, Belagavi organized a webinar entitled “Recent Trends and Developments in Telecommunications Network” 19th July 2021.

Mr. Hanchinal C. S., Ex Assistant General Manager, BSNL Mysore, was the key resource person. The facilitator elucidated recent developments in 5G and Internet of Network to students. Many telecoms’ companies are increasingly looking for hybrid engineers, so adding a complementary skill to your portfolios such as Cisco or Juniper certification is a good idea.

Speaking at the curtain raiser event, Dr. Basavaraj Katageri, Principal of the institution stressed that 5G, along with the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), must lead to transformation in the Indian communication scenario.

Dr. Udaykumar Naik welcomed the attendees, introduced the Resource person.

Python For Networking

Python provides two levels of access to network services. At a low level, you can access the basic socket support in the underlying operating system, which allows you to implement clients and servers for both connection-oriented and connectionless protocols.

Python also has libraries that provide higher-level access to specific application-level network protocols, such as FTP, HTTP, and so on.
