Overview

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in 1986 with an initial intake of 40 students.

Over the years, through excellence in academics and research, the department has steadily grown and now offers two programs with a total intake of 180 students. Located at the Belagavi campus of KLE Technological University, the department provides undergraduate programs in Computer Science and Engineering and Artificial Intelligence.

The department is supported by a team of 24 dedicated teaching faculty, including 7 Ph.D. holders, who strive for continuous quality enhancement and foster a culture of self-confidence and lifelong learning.

Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure and advanced computing facilities, the department is backed by high-speed Ethernet and wireless networks. The comprehensive curriculum emphasizes industry-relevant topics and incorporates problem-based learning, ensuring students are well-prepared to meet real-world challenges.
