Overview

Biotechnology is an interdisciplinary field merging biology, chemistry, bio process and biochemical engineering.

Its primary focus is manipulating living organisms for industrial, medical, agricultural, and environmental applications.

Biotechnology curriculum provides a strong foundation in the areas of microbiology, cell biology, biochemistry, and bioprocess engineering. It ensures that students gain a hands-on skillset applicable to scaling technologies between laboratory, pilot, and commercial facilities.

The advanced courses in genetic engineering, bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, and analytical instrumentation prepare the graduates for a variety of career opportunities, including higher studies and research.
