Automotive Electronics

KLE Tech University is at the forefront of engineering education when it comes to training students to be industry ready in Automotive domain. The university has a vibrant collaboration with giants from the industry namely RBEI (BOSCH), KPIT, Continental, Mercedes Benz. School of ECE offers a curriculum vertical of Embedded Systems with focus on automotive electronics. It includes Model Based Design approach for system development and exposure to current technological requirements and advances in the domains of passenger car safety, assistive technologies, infotainment etc. Students actively participate and win prizes at the national level competitions like KPIT Sparkle and Bosch Inscribe, which foster innovation. This has enabled RBEI to award the college with highest number of placements across India in 2018-19.

Prakalp

Prakalp is an initiative to strengthen the Analog VLSI Design vertical in the school. It trains the students in Analog circuit Design and Layout through an industry oriented elective course during summer collaborating with Chip Design Company in campus, Sankalp Semiconductors. Further it focuses on building competency through industry mentored mini, minor and capstone projects. This has resulted in placements at Cadence, NXP, Karmic, Zia, MMRFIC, TessolveSankalp semiconductors, etc.

Advanced Digital Logic Design & Advanced Digital Logic Verification

The school offers industry driven courses in Digital VLSI called Advanced Digital Logic Design & Advanced Digital Logic Verification. These courses provide experiential learning through course/mini/minor projects mentored by Industry India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), Synopsys Electronics Education and Research (SEER). This enables exposure to current technological requirements and advances in digital VLSI. Students excelling in these courses are offered direct Internship and Placements at Synposis, Xilinx, AMD, BROADCOM.

Machine Learning

The school has been at the forefront of latest tech trends globally. Machine Learning is offered as a core course with active collaboration from Team Samsung, R&D, which leads to many projects thereafter. The content includes Supervised, Unsupervised and Deep Learning Designed with reference to standard online courses from Andrew N G: Introduction to machine learning of Stanford University. The course provides hands-on experience through laboratory.
